Expanding my helping skills: For the benefit of Children and Families

"Flexible-Experience-Jumps In"

“See a need and fill it!” This is something I’ve heard many times throughout my life and I took it to heart. At thirteen years old I saw a need and filled it. Back then I didn’t know, but it would put me on this path to not just teaching but helping children. What started as an interest and willingness to step up, was able to grow and develop into a path towards helping children and supporting families. Social institutions play a major part in everyone’s lives and knowing their history and what’s behind a person’s thinking gives me a wide view into the life of a person. This gives me “know how” to couple with the willingness to help.

"Age Variety-Organized-Leadership"

This path has not just given me years of experience at a younger age, but it’s paved the way to growth and now I am the Children’s Director and Event coordinator for many other groups as well. I don't just interact with people. I work with them in all stages and ages of life, and organize them. I do so in ways that support their growth and provide enjoyment. I do what I can to find ways help fill the need but also enjoy the life they live.

"Connection-Drive-Care"

Along the path I’ve connected with many families. While most of my work has been in one institution I have also been connected to others and have joined several other groups that work towards making my community better for the families in it. I’ve been on a parent advisory council and I am currently a CRB member. I want to make sure my path stays moving in the direction of helping families and children get stronger and healthier.
